Setting up Tracking Tags

Set up online attribution within your Agility Account

A tracking tag is an HTML code snippet that loads whenever a user visits a website. They provide marketers with extremely valuable insights like audience behavior and ad performance while helping them improve their online offers and create more personalized ads.

There are two types of tracking tags available on Agility.

  • Site Retargeting tag: This tag tracks all activity on your website, allowing us to retarget website visitors and track their activity before making a purchase.
  • Conversion tag: This tag tracks specific clickable actions on the landing page, allowing us to attribute revenue and sales to specific ads.

How to use Retargeting Tags:

  1. Navigate to the “tracking tags” section on the main campaigns tab. Here you will find an auto generated retargeting tag that may be placed in the header of your website’s HTML.

We recommend implementing campaign pixels via Google Tag Manager, a user-friendly and free tool. If you're new to Google Tag Manager, check out our Video | How to install Google Tag Manager.
  2. Next, create a "Website" audience segment within your account.
